Salt Lake Remodel

With all the growth we’ve seen here it was only a matter of time before a big update was made to downtown. Just a few days ago, a larger expansion to the new Salt Lake entertainment & culture district was approved!

A total of $4.8 billion is expected to be invested in the project. Over $1.8 billion is committed by Salt Lake City and another $3 billion from Smith Entertainment Group.

The recent expansion includes another 9 acres of land downtown. Quite a few popular areas are set to be overhauled; The Delta Center, The Convention Center, Abravanel Hall, Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, and Japantown.

Things will be set in motion as soon as this month with renovations to the Delta Center. It will be exciting to see how this impacts the energy and feel of downtown!
